Sometimes we might carry enough land inventory in our books such as to be able to transition it over to a client in one easy deal, but more often we identify the need, take the order and start building the required land protfolio by buying one small parcel at a time.
In order to help facilitate the development of a larger size property, we occasionally have to buy small parcels of adjacent land (in case of “sweep purchases”). Such smaller parcels are usually not productive, until massed together in larger lots. We invite owners of land, interested in selling, to contact us.
When buying as principal, we only make aquisitions where we have the option and possibility to continue to expand our land ownership, with the final goal of building a farm or a large enough area to profitably exploit the land.
